The purpose of wedding vows is to publically signify the couples commitment to one another. I think it’s a beatiful think. We now have to decide whether we write our own or use a few set phrases. Easier said than done. I like that idea of choosing my own words to tell my fiancé how much I love and care for him and how want to be with him for the rest of my life.
Here are some vows to think about…

God, bless these hands that you see before you this day. May they always be held by one another. Give them the strength to hold on during the storms of stress and the dark of disillusionment. Keep them tender and gentle as they nurture each other in their wondrous love.
